With all of the crises and conflicts that are happening right now in the world how
can we keep from feeling helpless? Is there a way to use our Unitarian Universalist Principles to effect change in ourselves and in the world? Please join Cara Elrod, the Worship Team and members of our community as we explore ways to act positively in troubled times. There will also be a special story presentation from Joy Silver: "Wangari Maathai and the Nobel Peace.

Joy would love a little help with her story. If you'd like to help by holding up the mural, handing out questions or asking some questions, please see Joy before the service.

There is some street parking, some parking in the lot of Lord Selkirk elementary (about 3 blocks away) and some parking at the Famous Foods (also about 3 blocks away). Hopefully this map will be useful in finding the church and parking. 

We will follow this worship with a potluck meal. Feel free to bring a dish or drinks to share.  All cutlery and plates are provided.
