TOMORROW
Saturday Service"Embracing Change & Transformation
October 18th at 5:00pm
St. Margaret's Cedar Cottage
|
|
As we embark on this transformative third year of our community, we will be embracing change as we co-create what we want this community to be. Please join your Worship Circle as we explore where we have been and where we are going. Based on the work of Rev. Shige Sakurai, we will use the elemental symbolism of spirit, water, fire, earth, and air to represent the dimensions of transformative work. As always, we will have a potluck afterwards and helping hands are welcome with the cleanup.

Here in Canada, we stand in solidarity with our American neighbours against their wannabe dictator.
This peaceful movement is growing. That’s because “NO TYRANTS” is more than a slogan—it’s foundational to democracy. Born in the streets, carried by millions in chants and on posters, No Tyrants echoes from corridors of power to classrooms, from urban centres to small neighbourhoods, uniting people across North America to oppose authoritarianism, and to stand for democracy with one voice.
The US president thinks he’s above the law. In Canada we won’t back down against chaos, corruption, and cruelty. Grow our movement and join us. Elbows up. Sign up!

Next Sunday Gathering
"Seeking Wisdom"
November 2, 2025 @ 11:00
Molly Nye House
Bring a book!
Many of us turn to books to help us sort through the big issues we face. These can be non-fiction or fiction.
For this gathering please bring the title or titles of books that have most inspired you, or led to a shift in your journey toward a deeper commitment to climate action, social justice or the ‘truth' part of Truth and Reconciliation. If possible, plan to speak to why you chose that book or read a short passage from it
