Think Resilience course - express interest by December 10

7 Dec 2023 3:19 PM | Anonymous member (Administrator)

Allyson Yee would like to facilitate a study group for an online course called Think Resilience. This course explores the interrelated environmental and social crises of the 21st century—and helps us understand how we can respond to them with local resilience-building actions.  Registration is FREE.

The course consists of twenty-two short video lectures with optional videos/articles for each of the lessons. The study group would meet over ZOOM twice a month from January - April (7 or 8 sessions in total) - for each session participants would be expected to have watched 3 or 4 videos (approx 30-40 minutes) and reviewed some of the additional information. Day/time TBD based on the availability of those interested. For more information please see the course website:  https://education.resilience.org.

If you're interested in participating please email: allysonyee@gmail.com

We acknowledge that we live on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territory of the kʷikʷəƛ̓əm (Kwikwetlem First Nation), which lies within the shared territories of the Tsleil-Waututh, Katzie, Musqueam, Qayqayt, Squamish, and Sto’:lo Nations. We thank the kʷikʷəƛ̓əm who continue
to live on these lands and care for them, along with the waters and all that is above and below
