The waters of the Burrard Inlet are under threat. The Vancouver Port Authority plans to dredge near the Second Narrows Bridge later this year  to allow more oil to be shipped from the Westridge Marine Terminal (part of the Trans Mountain pipeline facility).

Rueben George of Tsleil-Waututh Nation is inviting people to join him in prayer and action for the inlet.

When: Feb 21st , 2PM, St Andrews Wesley United Church (1022 Nelson St)

Contact Barb or Robyn if you would like to participate.

We acknowledge that we live on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territory of the kʷikʷəƛ̓əm (Kwikwetlem First Nation), which lies within the shared territories of the Tsleil-Waututh, Katzie, Musqueam, Qayqayt, Squamish, and Sto’:lo Nations. We thank the kʷikʷəƛ̓əm who continue to live on these lands and care for them, along with the waters and all that is above and below
