November Sunday Gathering: ""Seeking Wisdom"

  • 2 Nov 2025
  • 11:00 AM
  • Molly Nye House, 940 Lynn Valley Road, North Vancouver

Manof us turn to books to help us sort through the big issues we face. These can be non-fiction or fiction.
For this gathering please bring the title or titles of books that have most inspired you, or led to a shift in your journey toward a deeper commitment to climate action, social justice or the ‘truth' part of Truth and Reconciliation. If possible, plan to speak to why you chose that book or read a short passage from it.

Parking Information: Mollie Nye House is at 940 Lynn Valley Road.  We are in the basement, entrance on the south side.  We can't park in the Hillside Baptist lot as they are using their lot Sunday morning.  The best parking option is at the Karen Magnussesn Rec center.  It's a little walk.  If you have accessibility issues you could be dropped off at Mollie Nye and then the vehicle can be moved.

We acknowledge that we live on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territory of the kʷikʷəƛ̓əm (Kwikwetlem First Nation), which lies within the shared territories of the Tsleil-Waututh, Katzie, Musqueam, Qayqayt, Squamish, and Sto’:lo Nations. We thank the kʷikʷəƛ̓əm who continue to live on these lands and care for them, along with the waters and all that is above and below
